Lauren got a call yesterday from Ladies Home Journal that she landed the internship for the Fall. Yay! Buckle up, it's going to be a busy season...get ready for the stories. You're all going to hear about it!

Lauren, beautiful news! Ladies Home Journal is a FIRST CLASS publication, (although I haven't read it lately).Any idea what you'll be doing there?

as lauren's pr agent, i'd be happy to respond to any questions (and because she asked me to since she's not feeling so great)...
lauren will be assisting in the editorial dept. - not sure exactly how, but she did recall 'fact-checking' being one way. she will be going there 2x week putting in a full work day (9-5) and it lasts for the whole semester. the office is not the most convenient - near grand central station (lirr plus 2 subways). the other days she'll be in school from 930-530. tgif will be big around here since she will have fridays off.

Three things I like about your new internship:
1) At the end of the semester you'll be able to consider yourself a "NEW YORKER",(to the envy of young women all over the country.)
2)You don't have to carry your books with you.
3)You'll have a 3 day weekend.
