U2's long awaited album "No Line on the Horizon" comes out next week and to help promote it they will be appearing on the David Letterman show for 5 consecutive nights, beginning on Monday!

I seldom recommend a web site ... but I am going to recommend a web site. Universities like MIT are part of an open consortium (www.ocwconsortium.org) that is making college courses and lecture series available online (for free) as video, audio, text, or podcast downloads. MIT's list of courses is impressive. Enjoy! Peter

Hi to all my loved ones (ha ha) This has been a grueling experience for me and of course for Cheryl. But I still think that she exaggerated my lack of technical know-how. Oh oh, Cheryl just informed me that as the Administrator of this blog, she can change it at her own discretion. So, now what? I guess I'll just go on with my tale of woe. Seriously, though, Cheryl had been very patient and helpful under very trying circumstances. However, without the help from Elizabeth it would not have been possible. Thanks Elizabeth!

Need your help!

Hi Everyone!  While Mom/Grandma Betty was suppose to make the first post here, she is unfortunately having a multitude of problems logging on and getting started. And because I've reached the end of MY rope, I'm hoping one of you can pick it up from here and try and step her through it. Since you will all be coming on as "invited" authors, you'll be acutely aware of the exact steps she'll need to log on (as opposed to me, the administrator of the blog).
