I know of one...no, two 'sweet' people.
!) Sweet Caroline. At least Neil Diamond thinks that she is sweet. I'm sure you all know that he wrote the song for Caroline Kennedy WHEN SHE WAS A CHILD. Would he call her sweet now? I don't know but according to my beliefs he would not.
2) Sweet Sue. No idea who she is but a musician (????)
wrote a song about "Sweet Sue". Maybe based on a real person, maybe not.
Anyone else?
So, anyone else considered "sweet"?

Well, my honey is as SWEET as possum pie, and she sure is purdy....And I got me this sis n'law who rustled up some special stuffed shell grub jus' for me - if that ain't SWEET, than I don't know what is...And My Honey and Sis n'Law got some dispositions sunnier than High noon in San Antone....And that's all this ol' cowpoke has to say...Nuff' said - Those two heifers are damn SWEET and don't you forget it!......Cowboy Mitch (and his buckaroos)
Mike & Ike are sweet.
As in, the candy...
Well Cowboy Mitch, while yer ridin' the herd I'm in my den lookin' up definitions. as one of the brilliant people said on Fr. nite, this debate may just come down to definitions. Ok so,I did see one def.that was: cloying, stickiness which was similar to my gooey, mushy.
Yes, cheryl making a special dish for you was swee....swee. sweet! And yer purdy wife is also often swee...swee. sweet. But to call anyone a sweet person I am still skeptical. I'll agree with Michael, Mike and Ike are sweet. Q.) Michael, what kind of candy is that?
Q.) Cowboy Mitch, How do you prepare that Possum Pie?
Chewy, fruit-flavored candy.
