Citi Field

So, we went to the second Mets home game of the season as the Mets beat the Padres at Citi Field. There's much more to it than you can see just from the pictures... there's plenty of places to eat (I had pizza), and walking around it, it feels much more like a minor league stadium on the inside than Shea ever could've. It's definitely a much more visually interesting stadium than Shea was. Let's go Mets!

There are definitely a lot of unique areas to visit at this park. Mike and I walked around the whole park checking out different views , it was fun. I especially liked the picnic table area surrounded by a food court on our promenade section. The food has had a major upgrade also. Two thumbs up! Can't wait to take my girls now!

Hey Mike - I'm hearing so many varied opinions regarding the pros and cons of the new ballpark - especially on WFAN...Can't wait to get more of your perceptions when I see you next.....Mitch

Michael,
The new stadium sounds great.I like your description that it 'feels like a minor league stadium'. The Food Court also sounds nice but... will anyone really leave the game to go for food?
Also your team won for you... because you are good luck for them!

I can't wait to go to citi field! It is really nice (from pictures) and it must be better in person. I also can't wait to try the food, I heard it is amazing! They have places like Shake Shack, Blue Smoke and some taco/burrito place. Shea was great, but Citi Field I know is better, which seems impossible, but it is true! LET'S GO METS!
