These are secret ballots you know. We don't want anyone feeling intimidated in any way when casting their vote. Do the best you can-- I can assure you the choices are completely valid and each one is quite worthy of being there.

PS Seriously though, I am sure that you are confident in your judgement and that's good. So I think this must be the famous "generation gap".

this may be the last time you can cast a secret ballot - the government is about to pass the "employee free choice act" which in actuality is the "no choice act" (open voting for unions - that's right, no secrets)
